In detail, the program that prepares recent graduates to work at Bunnings Warehouse is structured into the following phases:

  1. Store Locations: The journey begins at Bunnings Warehouse stores, where candidates will work alongside Store Operators, Sales Assistants, and Assistant Store Managers, providing support for the store’s managerial and operational activities.
  2. Regional Office Sales/Logistics Area: Participants will be involved in strategic activities within the Sales/Logistics Area at a Bunnings Warehouse regional office.
  3. Store Manager and Area Manager: Graduates will work alongside Store and Area Managers and tackle their daily challenges, learning how to achieve significant milestones together.
  4. Sales/Logistics Project: In the final phase of the program, selected young individuals will independently manage a logistics or sales-related project, in collaboration with their mentor and reference managers, to put into practice what they’ve learned through the Job Rotation.

Candidates in the Bunnings Warehouse Graduate Program for Retail/Logistics will not work directly with Store and Area Managers but will instead work at Distribution Centers alongside various professional roles. This will provide them with insights into the functioning of logistics platforms and product distribution activities.

ELIGIBILITY

The Bunnings Warehouse Graduate Program for Talents is open to recent graduates with a managerial mindset and a willingness to adapt to change. Additional requirements include initiative, problem-solving skills, and a sense of responsibility. It’s also important to have experience working in teams and groups during your university studies. Other desirable qualities include being a team player in various settings, such as study groups or associations, and being fluent in English, possibly with short study stays abroad.

BUNNINGS WAREHOUSE GRADUATE PROGRAM: WORK CONDITIONS

For recent graduates admitted to Bunnings Warehouse’s Graduate Program, there is a one-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment afterward. The commitment is full-time, and any overtime worked will be compensated accordingly. The starting salary is at the third level (Retail Modern Organized Distribution National Collective Labor Agreement), with a starting annual gross salary of AUD 25,775.
